MovieNight app for Windows 8 - Privacy Policy

MovieNight app does not intentionally collect any user information nor it intentionally stores in any central service.
App takes users search terms or request for top movie list and queries internet movie databases like Rotten Tomatoes, Netflix and Amazon directly from users computer or device and returns results directly back from the sources.
App does not intentionally employ any tracking or intentionally correlate search terms with specific user, because there is no backend service for the app to do that, except it talks to external movie database services directly.
App preference data and cache is stored locally with the app on users device. In the web view, source websites like Netflix.com, Amazon.com and RottenTomatoes.com provide their own user sign-in mechanism that are managed by the respective website privacy policies, please refer them before signing up to those websites shown in webview.
Search terms entered might be cached in cookies or browser sessions of the respective websites or show in the search term input text box.
These unintentional caching of search terms and queries is not controlled by MovieNight and the user assumes responsibility of the terms they enter.

MovieNight also provides an explicit share feature that allows users to send details of a movie to the email addresses they chose explicitly.
This share feature mearly opens up the users email client application and adds the movie details in the subject and body, users control the email addresses they want to share because they have to add the email addresses manually in their email client and then explicitly invoke Send feature of their email client.
Users have the choice of cancelling the email using their email client's cancel features.
Users assume total control and responsibility of the content and the list of people they share with.
By invoking the send feature of their email client they consent and agree to share the movie details with their chosen receipients.
This share by email is like any other email the user would send directly from their device to their intended reciepients, MovieNight app does not filter, does not track nor provide any additional service to control on top of what the users email client may provide.
